Still Nervous?

The questions
everyone asks

Will I actually get punched?

No. Your first class is mitt work, bag work, and technique — there’s no sparring and no hard contact. You throw the punches; nobody throws them back.

Am I too old for this?

Almost certainly not. We train everyone from age 5 well into their 60s and beyond. Every session is scaled to you, so you work at your own pace from day one.

What if I’m nervous or totally out of shape?

That describes most people on their first day. You’re never thrown in the deep end — the coach meets you where you are, and you can take breaks any time you need one.

Can I bring a friend?

Definitely. A lot of people are more comfortable trying their first class with someone they know. Just have them book a free session too so we’ve got space for you both.
